Just wanted to break down what was in this book.
There are 6 units. Each unit has 2 chapters that are broken down into lessons. There are about 3 to 5 lessons per chapter. The chapters are pretty small, but I think will be a good intro into science in general.
Unit A: Plants and Animals (how they grow and what they eat etc etc.)
Unit B: Homes for Plants and Animals (Places they live such as woodlands, desert, arctic, fresh water, salt water, etc.)
Unit C: Changes on Earth (Weather, water cycle, erosion etc.)
Unit D: The Sun and Its Family (Moon phases, planets, stars, etc)
Unit E: Matter and Energy (3 states of matter and changes in those states)
Unit F: Watch it Move (Simple machines, gravity, motion)
Keep in mind that they are only touching on these subjects. It's more in depth with the plants, but some subjects are barely mention such as in unit c they mention volcanoes, but it's only a small paragraph with a most basic description. I can see my autistic 11 year old outgrowing this pretty quick, but it's simple enough to go ahead and be teaching my kindergartener.

Good basics

Using for homeschool. A decent basic curriculum to build from. It doesn't get very in depth with the different ideas but gives you a decent overview, we use the book once a week to introduce the idea and then expand on it ourselves with other activities. Helps us know we are covering all the right areas throughout the year.

Arrived on time and in excellent. Althought a used book it look brand new. If anything this merchant was very conservative in the description. They stated the book was used but in good condition when I recieved it the book was in pristine (like brand new) condition. I would buy from them again.
